About the Artist:
Barbara Ann Shafer-Paschall-Scott had an extraordinary life, a religious person. She passed away at the age of 86. She started learning to paint at a very early age. Her favorite was animals (dogs and horses). Throughout her schooling, her off-duty activities were drawing and painting. Out of school, she worked at N.A.S.A in the drawing department, always painting on the side. Barbara owned a horse at an early age, riding and painting. She married a
King Ranch gentleman, who managed ranches of several thousand acres, raising cattle and horses, first in Texas and then in Wyoming. Barbara and her husband worked daily, herding cattle and horses (She loved it), and all the time painting after hours. Barbara Ann finished her working career as a Property Manager and painted on the side. Barbara had a dream life; she loved her art.
